My Maternity Break!
Updated: Mar 4, 2022
It was the month of June in year 2019 when I got married and got pregnant soon after that. I decided to leave my job at that time and join afterwards as they did not have any maternity break policy. I gave birth the next year and within days of his birth there was a nation wide lockdown for 15 days. It was an ominous time as the pandemic had started indicating of it's serious outcomes and the fact that it was here to stay.

After 6 months I thought about joining work and just when my baby turned 6 months old I found out I was pregnant again. So the maternity break that I took voluntarily just extended to two years till date. Now that my daughter is 9 months old and I am healed from my c-section, I am thinking about joining work online, for a start. I can not imagine my life without doing anything productive other than raising good kids. Because if you want to raise good kids, you have to be an example of a strong woman who follows her dreams as well.
