3 signs you need to de-clutter your home
You can't find anything on time. You have so many things in so many places that it's hard to remember where an item was at the last time you used it. There is no specific location for a set of items, and even if there is, there is no space because you have too much of one kind of items. For example, too many pairs of sunglasses, take away coffee mugs etc. Minimizing the items to a few of each kind can make space in your home and make it easier to organize and find.
You spend a significant amount of time tidying up. There are endless show pieces, endless shelves, and items that you don't even need but they still catch up the dust and add to the unnecessary clutter. Don't they? This might be a sign for you to re-think about their occupancy in your home. Less items need less cleaning and you get more time for other tasks and more time for yourself too.
You are an emotional shopper. You spend thousands every year buying things that you think that would bring you happiness but they end up lying in closets or on shelves even post their expiry date( if they are edible or cosmetics) but when you clear out these things you will also have to limit shopping mindlessly. A way to do this is wait for at least 48 hours if it's an essential thing and for 2 weeks if it's anything related to leisure. This will help you to limit the accumulation of more clutter as well.
